We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer to join our team at St. Agnes. As a key member of our team, you will ensure the facility is maintained to the highest standards, creating a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance procedures in line with organisational policies
Access Manad on Bene’s network computer to manage reactive maintenance
Execute a variety of general maintenance tasks as directed
Communicate issues requiring external support to the Maintenance Supervisor
Ensure accurate documentation of tasks performed
Participate in on-call duties as required
Key Communications:
Internal Contacts: Maintenance Supervisor, Site Manager, Building Supervisor, CNC, Residents
Personal & Professional Development: Attend training and continually develop skills to meet evolving job needs.
Customer Service: Provide prompt, professional service to residents while maintaining confidentiality and respect.
Administration & Documentation: Ensure all tasks are documented and stored in a timely and professional manner.
Technical Skills & Application: Apply technical skills to perform maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
Teamwork & Communication: Work collaboratively with the team to meet service delivery goals.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to quality initiatives and suggest areas for improvement.
Work Health & Safety: Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
Essential Criteria:
Current National Police Certificate
Driver’s License
Desirable Criteria:
Previous experience in an Aged Care Environment
Test & Tag Certificate
Italian language skills (highly regarded)
Work Health Safety Responsibilities:
Adhere to Bene’s Work Health Safety Policies and ensure a safe working environment.
Participate in Work Health Safety training and report any hazards.
Contribute to maintaining workplace safety through the implementation of safe systems of work.
Privacy and Confidentiality:
Maintain confidentiality regarding all resident and organisational information.
Adhere to Bene’s Privacy of Information Policy.
