We are seeking a Mobile Gardener / Maintenance Officer to deliver high-quality gardening and light maintenance services across community client homes.

This is a hands-on, mobile role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety, and values making a genuine difference in people’s daily lives.

About the Role

In this mobile role, you will provide timely, high-quality gardening and light maintenance services across client homes in metropolitan Adelaide. Responsibilities include:

• Lawn mowing, pruning, spraying, weed control, leaf raking, and general garden upkeep
• Basic home maintenance and minor modifications
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests and urgent issues
• Always ensuring a safe working environment
• Completing physically demanding tasks as required
• Accurately documenting work completed in line with Bene policies
• Working collaboratively with Community Services, Maintenance, and Care teams

About You

• Previous experience in gardening, maintenance, or handyperson work
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A commitment to safety, quality, and respectful service delivery
• Current Driver’s License
• National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
• Legal right to work in Australia

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience working in aged care or community services
• Italian-speaking
• Up-to-date COVID-19 and seasonal influenza vaccinations
• Test & Tag Certificate
