About the Role
Preparing, cooking, and plating meals for residents and special functions
Catering for special dietary requirements and texture-modified diets
Supporting menu planning in line with resident preferences and nutritional guidelines
Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness (HACCP)
Ordering stock and managing kitchen supplies efficiently
Collaborating with hospitality and care teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Completing all documentation accurately and in line with accreditation requirements
Your Roster
Week 1:
Wednesday, Friday & Saturday – 7:00am to 3:15pm
Week 2:
Wednesday, Friday & Saturday – 7:00am to 3:15pm
What We’re Looking For
Essential
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Cook
Recognised trade qualification
Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP principles
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Strong teamwork skills and a respectful, resident-focused approach
Commitment to quality, safety, and service excellence in aged care
Desirable
Experience working in aged care, health, or institutional kitchens
Italian language skills
Understanding of aged care accreditation and continuous improvement
HACCP or Food Safety Supervisor certification
