Your Role as a Domestic & Laundry Worker

As a Domestic & Laundry Worker, your role will be integral to ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for our residents. You will:

• Perform domestic cleaning duties including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning resident areas and common spaces

• Handle laundry services, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and returning residents' clothing and linen

• Ensure the safe handling of chemicals and cleaning equipment, in line with Workplace Health & Safety protocols

• Replenish consumables and manage waste disposal

• Ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness, meeting the expectations set by the Aged Care Quality Standards

• Support the dignity and wellbeing of residents by maintaining a clean and comfortable living space

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

• Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

• Commitment to respect, dignity, and service excellence

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness and hygiene

• Willingness to follow instructions and uphold high standards

Desirable:

• Previous experience in an aged care or hospitality setting

• Italian language skills (advantageous)

• Driver’s license (preferred)
