About the Role

We’re seeking friendly and reliable Community Care Workers to assist clients with personal care, domestic tasks, social engagement, and transport in their homes. You’ll work independently in the community, helping older people maintain their quality of life safely and comfortably.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as showering, grooming, dressing, and skin checks
• Provide medication support by prompting, administering, and supervising medication
• Perform domestic duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, laundry, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and social interaction
• Transport clients to appointments and social outings
• Follow care plans and advocate for client needs and preferences
• Communicate, report, and document client changes and concerns to the Case Manager
• Participate in staff training, appraisals, and team meetings
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and incident management

What You Need

Essential:

• Certificate III in Individual Support or higher
• Full Australian driver’s licence with comprehensive insurance
• Access to a reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
• Access to a smart mobile device
• Ability to work autonomously and adapt to client needs

Desirable:

• First Aid & CPR, Manual Handling certificates
• Experience working with the elderly and knowledge of aged care issues
• Understanding of Italian culture and language
